The Talon hit showroom floors in 89, along with it's sister models, the Laser and Eclipse.  DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors, which was a joint venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi.  The cars were built in Normal, Illinois. The 92 was the best model year being that it came with a 6 bolt motor and 4 bolt lsd rear.
